I had taken pictures around this spot earlier in the morning. I noticed that a another photographer who I had met earlier had come back and was taking pictures in this area again. It suprised me because he had been there for quite a while. So I went to see what had drawn him back. Well the sun was now higher up and more light was flowing into the canyon. It was filtering through the fall Aspens and causing the water and the rocks to glow gold. It was an entirely different seen than what it had been just a half hour before. Just goes to show it pays hang around and not to be in a hurry. I see so many people walk up take one shot and then hurry on to the next spot. They never get a chance to get a feel for the scene and so miss so many opportunities!
